Hi and welcome to "Fairy Castle Farm" I hope you enjoy your stay! I should introduce myself, my name is Sweetie and I am a resident of Fairy Castle Farm. A Wonderful Week.... Things are returning to normal ..

Well what a week we have had!

It's Yollie here, temporarily taking over the blog as my poor Sweetie's head is still in a spin, over all the activity of this week.

So to help a darling, precious girl out, you all will have to bear with me  I have said before I am not very good at this bloggy writing stuff so I apologise in advance if I ramble (as I inevitably will) ...

Firstly I wish to extend a huge thank you to everyone who passed on their prayers and healing wishes for my little princess, on behalf of myself, my husband and my daughter.

I feel the power of positive thinking and wishing, no matter your religious beliefs is a very real and true force to be recognised! We felt all your thoughts coming our way thick and strong from all over the world (see the end of this entry for a list of just this weeks global visitors). Thank you!

My daughter has bounced back wonderfully!  Full of gusto and never lacking in her good humour was the perfect remedy for such a debilitating illness.    I am amazed at how quickly she deteriorated and the brutal hold the Salmonella poisoning had over my baby's body. Yet am delighted at the rate at which she is improving now!

No mother wants to see her child in such agony for any period of time, my poor girl suffered for a full 10 days straight before there was any sign of improvement. There was absolutely nothing I could do to take this pain away from her, I would of in a heartbeat given the opportunity.

She spent a total of 6 and a half days in hospital and I will never forget the look of agony in her young 7 year old face. I wish to also thank all the Staff at the hospital/s who assisted  in her care. You were all wonderful and worth your weight in gold!  You made her feel so special and had such a gentle manner.  Even when you needed to glove/gown/mask up in her presence you never made her feel alienated.  When she was feeling such horrible pain and fear of what was happening to her body you did your best to ease her fears and explain her condition so she could understand,  we all thank you.

So as I said before it has been a huge week. My girl has eased her way back into school and we are hoping for full-time attendance starting tomorrow, fingers crossed.

On to other events.

Here you can see miss Sweetie, relaxing in her own burrow she dug this week!  She is very proud of herself and very protective of her burrow.  I think she did a marvellous job.
Her mother on the other hand is not quite as impressed.  Here you see Teegee looking quite disapprovingly at Sweeties handiwork.  I would love to know her thoughts...
Her father, Angel, on the other hand looks quite proud of his big girl.  Infact he is the only bunny whom got an invitation to inspect the new accommodation.  But then Sweetie has always been a daddy's girl.
Ok, moving on.  Chester. Yes, he has had a horrible week, poor lad.

He had to give up his 'palace' to none other than master, Billy the Kitty (who belongs to my grandparents) while he recovered from his big boy snip.  Chester was a very put out puss!  He is glad to see the back of Billy and ever so pleased to return to his rightful place in his palace, the couch, aka, Chester's Throne.

I must say, he really does know how to use it!
Ok, so is everybody still with me?  I told you I would go on a bit....

So Chester is once again happy, however he is keeping an eye out in case the little minion returns...
Here we have a few pics of Billy's time with me while recovering from his surgery....
Here he is watching a documentary on mice, I am not kidding, it really was on T.V. and he found it very interesting.
Being post operative, however did prove to be a little much for the little guy to stay awake all the way through,
He tried his very best to stay awake, these were mice, swimming in milk, running on treadmills.....
But sleep won out in the end!

So that is about it from me, thank you for staying with me (if you are still reading this that is!) .

As promised you can see below all the wonderful people from all over the world who have visited the Kingdom this week, thanks again.
