Sweetie here,
Today has been wonderful!! Don't know if it's the air, sunshine, good food or what, but I have had a brilliant day!
My Yollie was busy gardening (as usual) and we got all sorts of surprises. She must be getting ready to plant new things as we were offered all sorts of tasty treats - roots, seeds and all!!! She does this on purpose to keep us healthy and on our toes, so she tells us. She lets some things go to seed to harvest, like carrots, beetroot, rape (pron. RAPA), most herbs like parsley and oregano, cauliflower, beetroot ... let me think ... oh! yes, gourmet lettuces and the list goes on.
The best part is that once she has taken what she needs for next planting, we get the rest!!! She even helps us out by keeping the pesky Chooks away while we feast.
Sometimes she even waits till they go to bed before surprising us (even though we already know what's coming, you can't keep secrets from bunnies you know- our noses are too good not to mention our hearing, but I won't brag).
On to other news, we have discovered that we absolutely love glory vine (like grape without fruit) fresh or dry! My Yollie was a little hesitant to give it to us, but she said she called the Vet and they gave her the Okay to try a little, and we love it! It is fantastic and my daddy loves the "vine" bit when it gets hard. He said we all need to eat it to keep our toothy pegs trimmed (or it's off to the vets to have them trimmed - ouch!).
So now I can see my Yollie cutting down bunches at a time and drying it to keep for dry feed. here is a picture of it over the pergola ...
Till next time,
Take care,

smiling Dalmatian
Hi there,
Have you ever heard of "smiling" pets?? Well we have one! Her name is Holly (we call her "beast"). Holly has a wicked sense of humour, I'd hate to think what she is thinking, probably all the ways she would like to devour us poor little bunnies!!! Any-hoo I thought you might like to share the experience, ready for it? Well here goes . ...

Happy Bunnies!
It's Sweetie here, I have finally emerged from my burrow! The weather has cooled down and life is good. So good in fact that my dad hasn't stopped "purring". Purring you ask? Well yes, bunnies purr. Not like cats do but it's still called Purring. Do you want to see ? well look closely at the video and you will see.
Did you see that!!!!! I know, how funny, it looks like he is chewing cud (like cows), but really he is tapping his teeth together which is a bunny's purr.
Cool hey! If you are lucky enough to get up close it sound like he is blowing bubbles. My little human Princess loves it, it makes her giggle like crazy, which only makes dad happier, and so it goes on. Well till next time, take care.
