A quick catch up ....

Hi Everyone,
It's Sweetie here! I have been so busy of late. I need to apologise for neglecting my "blogging" duties.  It has been go, go, go around the castle farm.  We have been out pruning the weeds and helping cultivate the earth ready for the next lot of planting.  My Yollie has been frantically harvesting all sorts of goodies.  We love our extra tasty and fresh and crisp treats as reward for all our hard work around the garden.  My favourite is the little cucumbers, too small for the humans but oh so yummy for the bunny!!

The Rock-melons have been fantastic, My Yollie picked 15 good sized ones this week and we got three undersized but still juicy and delicious specimens. It wont be long now till the watermelon will be picked. They look super juicy too!

Lastly I need to give a mention to the enormous Sunflower growing in the garden (we don't have a picture to post yet, but hopefully tomorrow I can get one).  It is gigantic. I can't even see the top! It is so big.  My Yollie tells me you can see it from over the fence when you drive past! It's even taller than her (not that she is very tall by human standards) and the mature nectarine tree !!  To think it just came up all by it's self from some of our discarded animal feed. Then with some magic from mother nature and hey presto, giant flower towering over all else in the veggie patch, amazing. Well till next time, happy autumn and  take care.  Sweetie xox.
