Well first up today, My Yollie caught me doing something a little strange ....  I can't explain it, the elephants rump just looked tooo irresistible - I just had to give it a taste!!

We also got to see Billy again, he is going into the vets soon to be "fixed" and he is none to pleased with the idea, no matter how much we try and tell him how much better he will feel after it's all healed up!

Below is My Yollie's pride and joy in the "flowering garden" at the moment, it is a tree dahlia - it is huge but soooo pretty - what do you think?
see here for more on propagation etc ; http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/stories/s2660496.htm
We can see it from our castle and you can even see it from over the fence !! It is so tall.

Look who else fluttered by for a visit - we think she likes the pretty flowering tree dahlia too.

And to finish off here is the truss plum tomato again, with one the the tomatoes that have ripened ready to pick - Yum!!

Bye for now, from Sweetie:  and remember:

Spying Bunnies!! Full moon - Lunar Eclipse - Volcanic Ash - what more could you ask for?

Hi every bun, Sweetie here, twice in one day, I Know it must be a blue moon or something!  Well actually it is a red moon and isn't it spectacular!!  Look at how it made our Kingdom and Fairy Castle Glow!
My Yollie took this picture last night at 6.30pm.
Below we have mummy and daddy sharing a tender moment under the moon light ... do I hear music? ..... "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's .....  amore"
Busted Bunny!  What are you looking at Daddy?
"Who me?  Nothing??"

Yes you were daddy, we saw you, what was it?

"oooh, what was I looking at ? "

"through this tunnel here?"

Yes, through the tunnel - what are you spying on?
 "look for yourselves then!"

Happy bunnies, basking in the moonlight!!!

Here we have patches, giving himself a grooming!  He looks so handsome with his ears down!
As it is a full moon, and yesterday we had a lunar eclipse, along with all the volcanic ash floating in the sky it proved to be a very spectacular night sky show - don't you agree??

Till next time, take care from Sweetie xoxoxoxo

Thriving winter garden - Unimpressed daddy-bun! sleepy Chester Cat!! a real mixed bag tody!

Hi every bun!! Sweetie here, congratulations and lots of binkies for all!!! Our lil' ol' bloggy blog hit the 1000's visitor!!  Wonder-bun !!
First up we have some pics of our thriving winter garden....   pretty neat to have tomatoes like these growing when some of our top temps have been a mere 14 degrees Celsius here.  They are not protected but we have had a fair bit of glorious sunshine which has probably made the difference.

But wait, what is this ????  Daddy - bun Angel is NOT IMPRESSED!!  he has noticed there is a fence around the veggie patch and he can't sneak in anymore!!
 Oh, dear!
Angel is not happy, he is drooling over all the veggies - he even gave an annoyed thump!  to show his dissatisfaction.  I don't think he has given up just yet. I see his mind scheming.   Luckily My Yollie gives us loads of fresh veggies right from this very garden EVERYDAY!!  But daddy thinks he would do a better job at choosing which bits to harvest for us =(;o3

So Chester has been keeping a close eye on him!  Right from the lounge window!
Oh, no - what's this?  He is getting sleepy!

 Oh well he tried!

Oh, and just to finish My Yollie found this while cleaning out some papers.  It was made years ago for a "team-building" exercise where she worked - pretty lame hey? Crazy bosses!

Any hoo - appart from a nice sketch My Yollie did of a Thai Girl while on her honeymoon, it has one very interesting picture of "baby" Chester. It was taken when he first came to live with My Yollie and Stewart just after they got married.  He is 10 now and he was My Yollie's wedding gift from her new husband Stewart, aawhh how cute. And the best bit, he's lasted longer than flowers would have, hee, hee, hee.

Bye for now, from Sweetie  - Jungle june cont, tomorrow - promise!   xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I wanted to introduce you all to our new little friend : "Billy" the Kitty.

He does not live with us, but we get to visit and have a play when we go to My Yollie's,  Nonna and Nonno's house (this is Grandma and Grandpa in Italian).

He is soooo cute. But he is a guts!!  He never knows when to stop eating.

He would just eat all day if you let him!

You should see the big tummy on the little boy!  We keep him moving when we visit!  Billy gets grumpy easily when he can't keep up with us, he goes off in a huff.  This only makes us think he is even cuter!!

What do you think?  Is he a cutie pie?

Now, onto "Jungle June part 6".  Today I have the photos of the "Bali Orchid Park" My Yollie said this was not a place she planned on visiting but was very glad that their Driver, Made took them there.  She had never seen so many beautiful flowers in one place before.  My Yollie was also very surprised that some of the Orchids even had a beautiful fragrance.

The guide said this one below was a cross  between a Pineapple and a Banana!  MMMMmmmmmm Bananas - Yuuuuuuummmmmmyyyy - wonder what the plant "tastes" like to a bunny?

My Yollie said there were lots and lots of these little guys roaming around the park.

The plant below is actually an "air" plant. My Yollie has one inside, but she had never seen one so big and with such a beautiful bloom.
This one below is teeny tiny. It is not a real pineapple but a pineapple flower, pretty isn't it.

I think this one looks like an Angel - Just like my Daddy-bun ={;o3
See the Angel in the flower?  I can.
Ooooh, this little guy is called a Civet, they have a very nasty bite!  see it's toothy peg??
Guess what the Balinese discovered with these animals??  If you feed them coffee beans, they will pass them through their system and poop them out!  Well not rocket science there .... but .... now here's the interesting and kinda gross to humans bit(I don't get all the fuss as bunnies understand the idea perfectly),
see My Yollies bemused and shocked expression?

....  where was I?  That's right.  This little guy poops out coffee beans, then the people collect them, put them through a purification process and then guess what they do?......
Yep, use them to make coffee!  It is one of the most expensive in the world and its called "Katpoo Kopi" .  Apparently, by being first digested by the Civet it takes the bitterness out of the bean so it is one of the most pleasant and palatable coffee experiences, sounds good doesn't it?
My Yollie however could not get past the thought of where it had been to be game enough to try it.  So if anyone out there has tried it, please feel free to let us know what it was like!!!  Don't be shy - we wont judge!
Honestly, we won't - we get it!

 Here is a ginger flower.

And lastly a red trunk palm - very pretty hey! I bet tasty too!!

Well that's it for us. Catch you soon!  Sweetie xoxoxo
