Baby chooks enter the Jurassic ....Princess' Piano recital and cute bunnies of course!

Happy Spring time every-bun....

Sweetie here,

welcome new followers and we hope you enjoy your stay....
Firstly I would like to share my little Princess playing the grand piano at her piano recital.....

She did bun-tastically and her family were so proud of her.  A flawless performance, brava!
On to the progress of our baby chicks, do you remember when they hatched?  Here they are;
Now, everybun my daddy Angel has a question.
"Is it just me, or do you also think these little fluff balls, evolve temporarily into dinosaurs????"
Lets have a look....
 "what do you think, Patches?"
 "Yep, pretty dinosaury to me!"

It's not just their look, but it's the expressions and mannerisms too....

They really do go through such a process, to finally become a regal Hen or Cock....
Wilbur our dear barnevelder rooster ;o)
"bless you!"

" Bless-you again, Chester do you have hay-fever? well it's no wonder with all the blooms - what do you think it could be???"
Something in the Veggie patch?
 Peppino in bloom?
 Wisteria?
No?  Not sure which it is....
Let me ask my little fishy friend here,

Perhaps it's the Lavender? (Can you see the bee collecting the pollen?)
 Or the roses?

We give up!  Who knows what makes you sneeze????

Well, that is it from us, we hope you have a wonderful week and bunny, fishy and Kitty kisses to all our friends ;o)

Hi every-bun, It's Angel here, sorry Sweetie - you can have the blog back in a moment... I just wanted to share a very old picture with you.  It has a  funny story that goes with it....

Do you want to see?  Ok, look below........

Oh, "Poor Chester" I hear you say?  Well read on.....
Here is the story.  Our Little princess was two when this photo was taken, long before I was ever born. Yollie was on the telephone, Little princess was on the case! It took her highness less than 2 minutes to make Chester 'bootiful' as she later insisted was all that she was doing  .... However, it took her mummy over 15 scary minutes and countless scratches to take the clips out again! I think he liked being 'bootiful' what do you think?
I also would like to answer the regularly asked question of .... "Is Holly one of the 101 Dalmatians?"

Well, yes! Holly is one of them. In fact she is number '12' ......

Do you see it?  It is made up of her "dot's" and Holly has always had it.  It sits up on her shoulder and we think it is very special. (As does she!)

'Ok Sweetie, I'm done, you can have the blog back now'...
Thanks, Daddy-bun.
Well that was interesting, I never knew about those pictures.
On to other news.
Well, it has been very exciting here at Fairy Castle Farm.  The baby chicks are starting to grow their real feathers and taking in the world.
 They are just so adventurous
I can't help but stop and stare.

Much to their dismay, I am not the only one that stares!!
Oh the attitude!  At such a young age and it already shows!

Next, On to the SPRING FLOWERS .......
The flowers here at the moment are out of this world.
These are the Gaillardia and they are actually from last spring, the plant never died and they have gone crazy with blooms this year.  The back ground is actually the real sky not a back drop! Amazing and so beautiful I think.

If you want to know more about these amazing blooms, see here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaillardia
I especially love how beautiful the jasmine smells, even if I can't eat it (toxic) ;o(

And ...... my Yollie finally got a picture of the elusive "fishes"
I do use the term 'fishes' loosely, as she only captured a photo of ONE (1) fish! There are at least 20 in the pond (and breeding).  My Yollie has not given up on the perfect picture, just yet, watch this space.

So thanks for stopping by, have a bun-tastic week every one.

An update on Princess.... It's ALL GOOD!!!

Hi everybun,
Sweetie here,
I would like to just share a happy post today.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the chickens? Well, they NEVER stop 'peeping'.
We have had a wonderful week, full of glorious weather and time spend with our whole family.  We have certainly had our paws full taking care of baby chicks (there is just so much to teach them!) yet have thoroughly enjoyed the chore.

To end a perfect week we spend a great deal of time playing with our little princess. Patches however,  is just the 'princess-hog' he does not let us other bunnies get a look in when our little human joins us.  His favourite game is 'hide and seek' followed by 'chasey' (Patches chases princess!!)

We all just about burst with happiness whenever she giggles with joy! Which leads me to the best news, we are pleased to report that our little Princess is just great!
She has taken everything that has happened in her stride, bless her.
We know it has been hard for her with all that her little body (and mind) has had to endure, but you would not be able to tell to look at her.

Her eating is back to (almost) normal and she is enjoying much exercise and more play time.  Her piano practice is back in full swing (she has her first 'grownup' concert early next month) eagerly perfecting her concert piece, entitled;  'Running on the Spot'.

So from the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank everyone from everywhere around the world who has extended their words of support and encouragement. We appreciate all your kind words and well wishes.
Nothing makes us (and Yollie) happier that to be able to publish this wonderful update on our 'little princess'.

Have a bun-tastic week everyone.
Till next time - take care and remember ; Don't be shy to say Hi!~!!
I'll leave you with a quick flick of Daddy and Mummy with Yollie (I stay in the background, too comfy and tired out to move!)
